In 1987, Mike’s financial career expanded to include long-term care and Medicaid planning. This focus was inspired by his wife Judy’s experience watching a loved one become a pawn in the long-term care and Medicaid process.

Today, Mike helps clients increase retirement income, reduce taxes, and transfer wealth their way—not the IRS’s. He understands the legalities and manages the critical, complex issues that impact long-term financial security. He also teaches clients how Social Security and Medicare fit into a coordinated retirement plan.

After moving to Ashtabula, Mike was invited into the selective Leadership Ashtabula County program (Class of 2004), gaining hands-on insight into the county’s assets, needs, and opportunities—and a deep appreciation for the community he calls home.

Mike celebrates over 38 years in business without a consumer complaint. In 2015, he earned the SEC Series 65—affirming a fiduciary duty to place client interests first. That fiduciary mindset has been the backbone of his practice for decades.
